The Vera Cruz Halloween Parade is one of the areas oldest Halloween Parade dating back over 75 years! You can never miss your favorite part as the parade doubles back on itself or turns around three times! There are awards and cash prizes for all who march or participate in the parade. The event is scheduled for Wednesday October 16th, it starts staging at 6:00pm at Mystic Chain Park, which is located at 3984 Main Road West, Vera Cruz (Emmaus), and steps off at 7:00pm sharp!
The parade starts at Mystic Chain Park and proceeds left onto Main Road East. It crosses the intersection at the Vera Cruz Tavern onto Main Road West with the first turn around being at the Vera Cruz Fire Co. The parade then proceeds back down Main Road West turning left at the Vera Cruz Tavern and proceeding on Vera Cruz Road, turning around at the old Vera Cruz School. The parade then proceeds back down Vera Cruz Road and goes straight through the intersection by the Vera Cruz Tavern – turning around at Jasper Meadow Farms. The parade then heads back down Vera Cruz Road and turns right on to Main Road East where it proceeds back to Mystic Chain Park. The total parade route is about 1.2 miles and last about 45 minutes

The Easter egg hunt is Saturday March 30 at 1:00 PM at Mystic Chain Park
The Vera Cruz Homecoming is Sunday August 17th from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This years main band is Crazy Heart
The Vera Cruz Community Association meets the second Thursday of every month at the Citizen Fire Company’s Social Quarters, located on Main Road West, in Vera Cruz – right across the street from the main building for the Fire Co.
Meetings are at 7:30pm and we welcome folks to stop by and sit in on a meeting just to see what it’s all about! Looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community without giving up too much?
